Krishna
Kids Corner
Established in 1981, the gurukula on Bloomsburg
Avenue was to be a temporary stopover. Plans to build a school for
70 children at an asrama in Port Royal, Pa. fell through, and the
group, originally relocating from upstate New York, had to split
up. One came to Catonsville, where a Krishna temple had been established
in 1975. Today, the gurukula has 13 students.
